2 events,Ever wonder how truly “death-defying” circus performers are? Well, these fourth-generation tumblers, acrobats, aerialists, trapeze artists, and contortionists are coming to Cherokee, and the feats of skill they put on display are truly astounding. See “the giant wheel of death”! See “the globe of death”! See the rolla bolla and, for some people, the most terrifying thing of all: clowns! Join us for a two-day ceramic art show celebrating the area’s rich pottery heritage. Unique, original pottery by select artisans will be on display and for sale. Learn about the history of pottery and techniques used in our area during four distinct demonstrations and talks. The festival will take place June 21-22, 2019 at The Village Green Gazebo in Cashiers. |
