Bryson City Freedom Fest

The old fashioned street festival features local music throughout the day, handcrafted arts, festival food, and a children's area. Stay for the full day or return later to enjoy the headliner show at 8 p.m. followed by the fireworks show at 10 p.m.

Cherokee Powwow

Participate in an authentic Native American Powwow July 5-7 at the Acquoni Expo Center, and experience dancing, drumming, and tribal regalia. Hundreds of world-champion dancers and drummers will compete for thousands of dollars in prizes. Activities kick off with the "Grand Entry" march on July 5 at 7 p.m., and a fireworks display will take place around 10 on July 6.

Come to shop for authentic and unique gifts but stay for the music, food, storytelling, and craft demonstrations. A traditional Cherokee meal will be available for purchase for $10 per person by the North American Indian Women’s Association (NAIWA), and admission is free.

ColorFest Dillsboro

The artsy village of Dillsboro welcomes 40 demonstrating artists along Front Street with plenty of colorful creations. This area is a haven for artists and you'll meet the best of them. This favorite fall event is free to attend

Cashiers Leaf Festival

This fall festival celebrates the leaves beginning to change in the mountain village of Cashiers. This event welcomes 100 artisans and merchants to the park. Visitors will find unique handcrafted wood, pottery, jewelry and much more on display and for purchase throughout the weekend. Food, drink, live music and a juried art show add to the festive spirit of this event.

Church Street Art and Craft Show

Held in October every year in Downtown Waynesville. Established with the intent of providing a venue for artisans and crafts people to display their work, the festival has now grown to include more than 120 craft and food vendors.
