The Museum of the Cherokee Indian offers a family-friendly fun day of free cultural activities including traditional dancing, storytelling, cultural arts demonstrations, genealogy workshops, hands-on craft workshops and more.
The parade route starts at Old Cashiers School Road and proceeds on 107 North towards the Crossroads where attendees can enjoy live commentary of the parade on the amplifier system. The parade continues down Hwy 64 West ending at the Cashiers Community Center and Cashiers/Glenville Volunteer Fire Department.
The entire town is transformed into a winter wonderland of lights, candles, laughter and song! 2500 luminaries light your way to shops and studios. Horse and buggy rides available each night. Shopkeepers provide live music and serve holiday treats with hot cider and cocoa. Carolers sing and children visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Live Nativity at Jarrett Memorial Baptist Church.
