Participate in an authentic Native American Powwow July 5-7 at the Acquoni Expo Center, and experience dancing, drumming, and tribal regalia. Hundreds of world-champion dancers and drummers will compete for thousands of dollars in prizes. Activities kick off with the “Grand Entry” march on July 5 at 7 p.m., and a fireworks display will take place around 10 on July 6.

The main public event for the Friends of Lake Glenville is the celebration of our nation’s birthday during the July 4th week. This year’s show is on July 2nd (Rain Date: July 6) and starts around 9:30pm, but we recommend you be in place by 9pm.

The Jackson County Chamber of Commerce will host the July 4 fireworks downtown at dusk. The evening’s festivities will also feature the Carolina Soul Band before the fireworks.

The old fashioned street festival features local music throughout the day, handcrafted arts, festival food, and a children’s area. Stay for the full day or return later to enjoy the headliner show at 8 p.m. followed by the fireworks show at 10 p.m.
