You’ll enjoy A Retreat at Shoal Creek from the moment you arrive and smell the fresh mountain air. The hardwood floors throughout the main floor, beamed ceiling, and a stone fireplace add a rustic touch to this newly remodeled cabin. The kitchen, dining/living area, and full bathroom are on the main level to allow easy access for anyone. The two adjoining bedrooms upstairs — one with a king-sized bed, and the other with two full-sized beds — can sleep 4 to 6 people and share a half-bathroom.
The cabin has 3 TVs, wi-fi, a land-line telephone, central heat, a/c upstairs, DVD player, satellite, and Roku in the living room and master bedroom. Enjoy the all-weather wrap-around porch with an abundant amount of space to eat, socialize, and relax, or sit by the creek and enjoy the sound of rushing water. In the evenings or during cooler weather, gather the family around the fire pit for S’mores. In addition to proximity to the mountains, A Retreat at Shoal Creek is just 2 miles from Lake Glenville and its public beach with white sand and crystal clear water. The lake also has a marina, public boat ramp, and boat and kayak rental - or bring your own; the cabin has ample parking for cars and boats.
Located directly on Highway 107, the retreat is close to shopping, dining, and breweries in Cashiers and Highlands, as well as Sylva and Cullowhee, to take in sporting events at Western Carolina University or winter activities like skiing and tubing. This cabin is the perfect location for a mountain vacation with the modern comforts of home!
