Enjoy the secluded nature of this cozy home, complete with comfortable furnishings, an open floor plan with vaulted ceilings and many picture windows, plus plenty of space for six to spread out! Whether you're planning a family ski trip or a summer fishing excursion, you'll love coming home to this lake cabin. In the Summer, you will find a calm oasis just outside your door, and after Labor Day, the lower waterline transforms the property into a riverfront home where you can witness the changing ecosystem.
Headwater's Hideaway is a well-equipped cabin located on Lake fontana near many popular destinations. Inside you'll enjoy many cozy details that include polished wood beams, rustic mountain decor, and a fireplace with a floor-to-ceiling stone facade. On the lower level you will find a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, and living room with a queen-size sleeper sofa. Additionally, there is one bedroom with a queen sized bed, a full sized bath, and the laundry room. Upstairs is a private loft with a comfortable king bed and a second full bathroom. Venture outside where you can relax and take in the scenery while enjoying a cup of coffee, glass of wine, or just sitting around the wraparound porch. Grill out and enjoy a tasty meal, or take a soak in the private hot tub.
With private access to the lake, you can enjoy the best of Fontana! Go for a swim, have a lake side picnic, or rent a boat from Alarka Marina -- only about a mile away.
