The Day Dreamer is an excellent choice for those interested in university sports, events and graduations as it is only 5 minutes from Western Carolina University.
At only a couple of miles from the Tuckasegee River you can spend the day tubing, rafting, fishing, and kayaking. There are many dining choices to suit every taste. If you enjoy shopping there are options to choose from such as visiting the local crafters or spend the day antiquing. If hiking and exploring outdoors is more to your liking then take advantage of the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway where there are wonderful walking trails or simply relax on the Great Smoky Mountain Railway and enjoy all the wonderful views.
